PADI Hypoxic Trimix Course in Malta
Extend Your Tec Diving Limits to 90 Meters
The PADI Hypoxic Trimix course is the ultimate upgrade for technical divers certified as Tec Trimix 65 divers, pushing your limits to safely dive depths up to 90 meters (295 feet). You’ll learn to manage dives using hypoxic trimix blends, air, enriched air, and pure oxygen while mastering complex dive planning and emergency procedures. Perfect for divers looking to safely and confidently explore the deepest technical diving sites Malta has to offer.
What’s Involved in Your Course?
During your training, you will:
- Conduct at least three trimix dives to depths between 75 and 90 meters.
- Master the cognitive and motor skills required for technical hypoxic trimix diving.
- Learn comprehensive dive planning using advanced decompression software for custom dive plans and tables.
- Train extensively in managing foreseeable technical diving emergencies and procedures specific to hypoxic trimix dives.
If you completed Tec Trimix 65 more than 3 months ago or with another dive centre, a skill check dive is mandatory before progressing.
Certification Outcomes
Upon successful completion of your PADI Hypoxic Trimix course, you’ll be fully certified to dive independently using hypoxic trimix gas blends, allowing exploration of the deepest accessible recreational technical dive sites. Your certification has no defined depth limits, but extending your experience and comfort zone gradually is your responsibility.
