PADI Search & Recovery Speciality Course

Sunken treasures will be of little use if they remain sunken! Take the PADI Search & Recovery Speciality Course and ensure the submerged stash is claimed for you. Of course, in the real world, treasure troves are rare, but the course will be invaluable should you ever drop or lose something of value overboard. You will be shown methods of finding items and presented with a variety of ways to safely lift or retrieve objects. Equipped with compasses, reels, SMB and lift bags, students get to be a true aquatic Indiana Jones.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

The PADI Search & Recovery Speciality Course consists of Knowledge development. Practical training above and below the surface of locating and salvaging items and recovering small and large items underwater over four open water dives.

Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water or equivalent
12 years or older

PRICE INCLUDES

Hire of basic equipment needed, instructor, land transport to dive sites and certification card, DAN insurance

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

Bring a towel, water, and a swimming suit, and change to dry after diving. Many times we drive to the dive sites, and no wet clothes are allowed in the vehicles.
