If scuba diving has ever appealed to your child between ages 10 to 14, then the internationally recognized PADI Junior Open Water course is the way to accomplish your goal. The crystal clear and warm waters of Malta combined with the beautiful reefs and stunning visibility and fish life make learning to dive a pleasure and easy!
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Combining diving theory, skills training and open water diving, this course is conducted by our highly experienced and enthusiastic instructors using our purpose-built facilities right outside the dive centre in the open sea!
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY CERTIFICATION?
You will be qualified to dive to 12 meters (between ages 10-11) and be able to plan and execute a dive without PADI Professional.
After certification, 10- to 11-year-olds can dive only with a parent, guardian or PADI Professional to 12 metres/40 feet maximum depth
12- to 14-year-olds must dive with an adult certified diver to a maximum depth of 18 m.
(* Maltese diving regulations require at least Junior Advanced Open Water Diver to dive in Malta independent of a dive centre)

REQUIREMENTS
Ages 10-14 (those ages 15 and above are eligible for the PADI Open Water Course)
Ability to swim 200m unaided without stopping and float/thread for 10 minutes.

Hire of basic equipment needed, instructor, land transport to dive sites and certification card, DAN insurance
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Bring a towel, water, a swimming suit, and a change of dry clothing to change into after diving. Many times we drive to the dive sites, and no wet clothes are allowed in the vehicles.
