What Is the PADI Tec 45 + 50 Instructor Combo Course?

This combined instructor course merges the advanced and deep levels of the PADI TecRec program into one seamless training experience. You’ll refine your ability to teach complex decompression procedures, deep gas management, and advanced safety planning. The program blends theory development, confined water sessions, and deep open-water training dives under the direct supervision of Chris Heitkemper, one of Malta’s most experienced TecRec educators.

Each component of this course is focused on professional application, safety, and effective teaching methods. By the end of the program, you’ll be confident in your ability to lead and certify technical divers up to 50 meters.

Course Prerequisites

• PADI Tec 40 Instructor certification

• Certified PADI Tec 50 Diver (or equivalent)

• PADI Deep Diver Instructor and PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor

• Minimum age: 18 years

• Valid diving medical within 12 months
