What Is the PADI Tec 50 Instructor Course?

The PADI Tec 50 Instructor Course refines your ability to train divers for challenging, deep decompression dives up to 50 meters. You’ll learn how to teach complex gas management, emergency procedures, and multi-stage decompression planning while maintaining absolute control and safety.

Under Chris Heitkemper’s expert guidance, you’ll develop strong teaching techniques, classroom delivery skills, and in-water evaluation methods. This course also prepares you to run the complete Tec Deep Diver program independently, from theory sessions to open-water assessments.

Each session blends PADI’s proven instructional framework with practical mentoring, ensuring you graduate confident and capable of leading technical divers at every level.

Course Prerequisites
