Expand Your Depth Limit to 65 Meters Using Trimix

The PADI Tec Trimix 65 course takes your technical diving further by teaching you to safely explore depths down to 65 meters using trimix (helium, oxygen, nitrogen blends). This advanced course is specifically designed for certified PADI Tec 50 divers (or equivalent) who want to significantly extend their depth range and reduce narcosis during deep dives around Malta’s world-renowned wrecks and reefs.

What’s Involved in Your Course?

During your training, you’ll:

• Learn to confidently handle dives using multiple stage cylinders.
• Plan and execute at least five deep trimix dives, practising with various enriched air (EANx) and trimix blends.
• Utilize advanced decompression software to create precise custom dive tables.
• Conduct training dives as deep as 65 meters (210 feet), safely managing multi-stop decompression schedules.

We recommend allowing extra days for flexibility, as weather conditions in Malta can sometimes impact dive plans.

Certification Outcomes

With your PADI Tec Trimix 65 certification, you will:

• Safely dive to depths of 65 meters using trimix blends with a minimum oxygen content of 18%.
• Execute multi-stop decompression dives using enriched air nitrox and oxygen for accelerated decompression.
• Extend your range of technical diving skills, confidently managing deeper and more complex dive scenarios.

Duration

• 4–5 days (additional buffer days recommended for weather)

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Certified PADI Tec 50 diver (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 150 logged dives
• Valid diving medical clearance (within the past 12 months)
